    Kalms Day Tablets are a traditional natural drugs designed for the momentary relief of signs associated with stress resembling mild anxiety.

    How effective are Kalms Tablets?

    Kalms Day tablets are an effective way of reducing stress. The active ingredient -valerian root and hops extracts are traditional herbal remedies used effectively for many years. Most patients find them effective within 2 weeks of starting.

    Can I buy Kalms Tablets online?

    Kalms Tablets does not require a prescription, although you are very welcome to book an appointment with a health expert at Click Pharmacy to discuss how best to use this product. Kalms Tablets can be purchased online and will be sent directly to you by Next Day Delivery. Multipacks are also available.

    What dose should I choose?

    Kalms Day Tablets are available in blister packs of 84 or 100 tablets.

    For adults and the elderly, 2 tablets should be taken three times per day with water after meals.

    How should I take Kalms Tablets?

    Adults and the elderly: Take 2 tablets three times per day with water after meals.
    For oral short term use only.
    -The tablets should be swallowed whole with some water or other liquid.
    -The use of this product in children or adolescents under18 years of age is not recommended, and medical advice should be sought if taken.
    -As treatment effects may not be apparent immediately, this medicine should be taken for 2-4 weeks continuously
    -The maximum daily dose is 6 tablets.
    -Do not take more than the leaflet tells you to.
    Duration of use - If symptoms worsen, or do not improve after 4 weeks, a doctor or a qualified healthcare practitioner should be consulted.
    If you take more Kalms Day than you should - If you take too many tablets, consult your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner as soon as possible.
    If you forget to take Kalms Day:
    Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose.
    If you are unsure about anything, consult your doctor or qualified healthcare practitioner for advice.

    How do Kalms Tablets work? 

    Kalms tablets contain valerian root and hops extracts. Valerian root and Hops are traditional herbal remedies that help to give a good night's sleep while reducing stress and anxiety.

    How long do I need to take Kalms Tablets to work before I notice a difference? 

    Up to 6 tablets should be taken daily. Effects should become noticeable between 2 and 4 weeks. If there is no effect after 4 weeks, speak to your doctor.

    What are the side effects of Kalms Tablets?

    Like all medicines, Kalms Day can cause side effects, although not in everyone.• Gastrointestinal effects such as nausea and stomach cramps have been reported with Valerian root preparations. The frequency is not known.

    When shouldn’t I take Kalms Tablets?

    Do not take Kalms Day if you:

    -are allergic to any of the ingredients 

    -are pregnant or breastfeeding

    -are under 18 years old

    -are already taking medication for stress or anxiety

    -are taking a medicine to help you sleep

    Taking other medicines

    Please tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or have recently taken any other medication, including:

    -medicines obtained without a prescription.

    Important information about some of the ingredients:

    -This medicine contains sucrose. If your doctor has told you that you have an intolerance to some sugars, consult your doctor before taking this product.

    Driving and using machines

    Kalms Day may make you feel sleepy. If affected, do not drive or operate machines.

    Additional information:

    The sedative effects of this medicine can be heightened by alcohol. Therefore alcohol should be avoided while taking this medicine

    What is the difference between Kalms Tablets and Kalms Night /Vitabiotics Sleepnite?

    Kalms Day pills contain the active ingredient - valerian root and hops extracts. This is used to reduce stress and anxiety.

    Kalms Night pills contain only the valerian root extract. The tablets are taken an hour before sleep and help give a relaxed sleep.

    Vitabiotics sleepnite also contain valerian and offer alternative dosages. They can also be taken during the day to reduce anxiety.
