What is Regaine for Women

Hair loss can be distressing for women and it often results in a loss of confidence and problems with self-esteem. Available as a lotion, Regaine for Women is a treatment for female-pattern baldness. This hereditary condition causes a general thinning of hair on the vertex, which is the area located at the top of the scalp.

Why choose Regaine for Women?

Regaine for Women contains minoxidil, which is the only medicine currently available that is known to treat female pattern baldness. In clinical trials, three out of five women who used the lotion reported regrowth of hair on the affected areas of their scalp after using the treatment for 32 weeks. In other women, it can stop or slow hair loss.

What dose should I choose?

You will find detailed dosage instructions on the leaflet, and if you are unsure of anything, you can contact our experts at Click. A dose of 1 ml should be applied to the affected area of the scalp twice a day using the applicators enclosed with the product. Note that exceeding this dosage will not cause your hair to regrow any quicker, and it could lead to unwanted side effects.

How should I take Regaine for Women?

Regaine for Women should be applied to a dry scalp twice a day, with an interval of 12 hours between each application. Once you have finished putting the lotion on your scalp, make sure you wash your hands thoroughly. To see results, you will need to use the lotion continually. However, if you miss one or more applications, just continue as normal. Do not increase your dose or apply the lotion more frequently. You may start to notice regrowth after around four months of using the treatment.

How does Regaine for Women work?

The lotion contains the active ingredient minoxidil, which is the only medicine available to treat hereditary hair loss in women. It is not clear exactly how minoxidil works, but it has proven to be an effective treatment option for many of those who use it.

What are the side effects of Regaine for Women?

If you experience side effects as a result of using Regaine for Women, such as a rapid heartbeat, changes to your blood pressure, a pain in your chest, dizziness or fainting, unexplained weight gain of more than 2kg, swelling in your feet or hands or persistent irritation of your scalp, stop using the treatment. You should also book an appointment with your doctor.

Can I wash my hair after using Regaine for Women Regular Strength?

Your hair should not come into contact with water for at least 4 hours after using Regaine for Women Regular Strength. It is advised to shower in the morning before applying the foam, and in the evening. This will ensure the hair does not come into contact with the foam while showering or bathing.

How should I store Regaine for Women RegularStrength?

You should store Regaine for Women Regular Strength in a cool dry place, out of reach and sight from children, and at room temperature. This product should not be exposed to extreme temperatures or direct sunlight.

Does using Regaine for Women Regular Strength affect my ability to participate in activities such as driving and operating machinery?

Using Regaine for Women Regular Strength does not affect anyone's ability to participate in activities such as driving or operating machinery.

What if I forget to use Regaine for Women Regular Strength?

If you forget to use Regaine for Women Regular Strength you should use it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose. If it is almost time for your next dose you should skip the dose you just missed and continue as normal. You should never take two doses at once even if you are making up for a missed dose.
