What is Colpermin IBS Relief

Colpermin IBS Reduction Capsules are recommended for the reduction of symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) similar to bowel contractions, bloating, trapped air, and diarrhoea or constipation.

Can I buy Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules online?

Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules may be purchased online without the need of a prescription from the doctor. However, you are welcome to book an appointment with a health expert at Click Pharmacy to discuss how best to use this product. They can be purchased online in boxes of 20 sustained-release capsules and will be sent directly to you by Next Day Delivery.

How effective are Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules?

Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules are indicated for the relief of symptoms of Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), such as bowel cramps, bloating, trapped wind, and diarrhoea or constipation.

The capsules in Colpermin IBS Relief have a special enteric coating which stops them from dissolving in the stomach and upper intestine. Once the capsule reaches the lower intestine, peppermint oil is released slowly into the bowel. It then acts on the smooth muscle of the bowel wall, causing it to relax. Painful spasms and pressure in the bowel are reduced through this antispasmodic action of peppermint oil, with an easing of bloating and wind.

These effects help to re-establish normal bowel movement frequency and relieve the discomfort of bloating and trapped wind.

78% of Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules users reported an improvement in the symptoms of their IBS after just four weeks of use.

Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules contain arachis (peanut) oil and should not be consumed by those with allergies to peanuts or soya.

To help the condition, the patient needs to adopt certain lifestyle changes to improve the quality of life. For example, altering the diet to avoid certain foods that aggravate the IBS and inflammation of the bowel may already make a marked improvement to the symptoms. In some patients, dairy products may produce a flare-up, but this may be different in others.

Exercise is also thought to relieve some symptoms of IBS, such as stomach or bowel cramps. Many IBS sufferers benefit from regular aerobic activities such as brisk walks or cycling.

Bringing stress levels down through exercise, meditation techniques, and behavioural changes can also help to ease some of the symptoms of IBS.

Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules may be used in conjunction with some other over-the-counter preparations to control all the symptoms experienced by the patient. A pharmacist or doctor should be consulted when taking medications in combination with each other, even if these are purchased over the counter.

What dose should I choose?

Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules available in one dose ingested orally. They are not indicated for children under 15 years of age.

Adults and children over 15 years of age should take one capsule three times a day (approximately every eight hours). If symptoms are severe, the dose can be increased to two capsules three times a day.

The capsules should not be taken immediately after food.

Colpermin IBS Relief Capsules should be used until the symptoms are resolved. This is usually within two to three weeks but sometimes may take as long as two to three months in more persistent cases.

If a worsening of symptoms is experienced or new symptoms appear, the doctor should be consulted to investigate the possibility of other underlying problems.
