How should I use Nitty Gritty Nitfree Comb?

Remove any tangles from hair with your usual comb. Ensure hair is thoroughly wet (lice can move quickly in dry hair), or apply Nitty Gritty Head Lice Solution to dry hair. Apply conditioner to wet hair and comb through from roots to ends. Part the hair into 4-6 sections and comb through from root to end with Nitty GrittyNitfree Comb ensuring each section is fully cleared of all lice and eggs before moving onto the next, paying particular attention to the scalp, nape of the neck and behind the ears where eggs are more common. Throughout the process, periodically clear the comb of any lice or eggs. Once the process is finished, wash hair with either Nitty Gritty Solution or rinse if using regular hair conditioner.

How effective is Nitty Gritty Nitfree Comb?

Nitty GrittyNitfree Comb effectively removes head lice and the live louse eggs before they hatch and the empty egg cases without the need for chemicals. Its award-winning design ensures this is a quick and easy process.

What is the difference between Nitty Gritty Nitfree Comb and Hedrin Head Lice Detection Comb / Acu-Life Nit Comb?

All combs are used to remove lice and eggs from affected scalps. However, Nitty Gritty Nitfree Comb has an award-winning ergonomic design that ensures it is easier to use. Nitty Gritty Nitfree Comb is made entirely of metal, ensuring durability for repeated use, whereas the other products have plastic elements.

What should I do after combing my hair with Nitty Gritty NitFree Comb?

Once you have combed your hair with Nitty Gritty NitFree Comb, you should remove any head lice or eggs from in between the comb and snap them. This will ensure the head lice and eggs are killed to prevent any change of them spreading further.

Can I use a head lice treatment with Nitty Gritty NitFree Comb?
