Calpol SixPlus Fastmelts is a fast-acting painkiller for children. It is a pleasant tasting medicine with a strawberry flavor that melts in the mouth making it easier for children to swallow it. This medicine provides relief from pain and fever caused by cold, sore throat, toothache, earache, immunization, etc.

This medicine contains paracetamol. While using this medicine, do not use any other medicine that contains paracetamol.

Calpol SixPlus tablets are suitable for adults and children aged between 6 and 12 years. These tablets are easy to take as they melt in your mouth. Just place a tablet on the tongue and suck on it gently. You can also dissolve the medicine in a teaspoon of water.

Dosage:

  • Children 6 – 9 years:  1 tablet

  • Children 9 – 12 years: 2 tablets

  • Children 12 - 16 years: 2-3 tablets

  • Adults and children over 16 years: 2-4 tablets

  • Do not exceed the limit of 4 doses in 24 hours.

  • There should be a gap of at least 4 hours between each dose.

  • Read the leaflet properly, before using the medicine.

  • While using this medicine, do not use any other medicine containing paracetamol.

  • Do not exceed the stated dose.

  • Keep out of sight and reach of children.

  • If your child is taking other medicines, consult your doctor before using Calpol tablets to avoid any drug interactions.

  • Read the expiry date before using this medicine.

  • Store in a cool and dry place.

The active ingredients in Calpol SixPlus fastmelts include Paracetamol 250mg.

Other ingredients include: Mannitol (E421), Crospovidone, Aspartame (E951), Strawberry flavoring E. 9620941 (containing benzyl alcohol and glucose), Magnesium stearate, Basic butylated methacrylate copolymer, Polyacrylate dispersion 30%, and Colloidal Anhydrous Silica.
