What is Premique
Premique, in essence, is a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT). It has two active ingredients, which are types of female hormones – estrogen and a progestogen (medroxyprogesterone acetate). These imitate the working of the female sex hormones oestrogen and progesterone in order to treat symptoms of menopause. It is also beneficial in helping reduce the risk of developing endometrial cancer, which is associated with taking oestrogen-only HRT in women with an undamaged uterus.
It might take a while for your body to adjust to Premique. During the initial stages, you may experience breakthrough bleeding or spotting. Since HRT should only be used as a short-term treatment for menopause, it is necessary to inform your primary physician if you experience spotting for an extended period of time.
Also, Premique is not birth control, nor will it act like one. Premique can not prevent pregnancy in women. Keep in mind that women are considered fertile until two years after their final menstrual cycle.
What Does Premique Treat?
At its core, Premique is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) designed to help relieve the symptoms of menopause. Women usually tend to go through menopause between the ages of 45 and 55. During this period of time, the ovaries tend to produce less and less oestrogen. This lack of production of oestrogen is directly responsible for halting the menstrual cycle.
Although menopause is considered a natural part of a woman's ageing process and is a part of life, it can result in symptoms that can negatively impact an individual's everyday life. There are various manifestations of the physical symptoms, which can vary depending on the person. However, the most common ones are:
- Night Sweats
- Hot Flashes (intense feeling of warmth, usually over the face, neck and chest)
- Dryness in the Vagina
- Dryness of the Eyes
- Osteoporosis
- Insomnia or other sleeping disorders
- Depression
- Mood Swings
- Irritability or Aggravation
Such physical symptoms generally last for more than four years. However, keep in mind that these kinds of symptoms may begin several years before the menopause period starts.
How does Premique Work?
Since Premique is a Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT), it works by alleviating the symptoms of menopause by taking the levels of hormones up to a normal amount. Such hormones that the body used to produce naturally before menopause began are essential to a well-functioning body. However, some HRT medicines contain oestrogen only because the uncontrolled increase in oestrogen levels in women who still have a uterus can cause the lining of the uterus to expand significantly. As a result, the risk of endometrium cancer increases. In order to counter such risks, Premique contains progesterone.
How Should I Take Premique?
It is best to take Premique at a similar time every day. You can take the tablet with water. However, it is not necessary for you to eat something before or after. Avoid skipping doses and once the pack of Premique (28 tablets) runs out, start a new one immediately. Make sure there are no intervals. Review HRT with your primary physician every 6 months.
It is important to note that if you forget to take a tablet, for whatever reason, take it as soon as possible. This does not mean you should take two tablets at the same time. However, if the time for the next tablet has approached, then skip the missed dose.
Can I Purchase Premique Online?
It is necessary for one to have access to their essential medication at all times. It is also important to have an online pharmacy that you can trust. What are the Benefits of Using Premique?
As we all know, starting menopause indicates decreasing levels of oestrogen. This decrease in oestrogen can lead to several symptoms, including hot flushes, night sweats, as well as vaginal dryness. Premique and Premique Low Dose are effective hormone replacement therapy treatments that help to alleviate the symptoms of menopause. This treatment is also beneficial in slowing down the development of osteoporosis. Osteoporosis can often occur after menopause – only if the other treatment has proved unsuccessful.
