Treatment Information
Overview
Cetraben Bath Additive is a moisturising bath formula that helps to hydrate dry skin. It is a fragrance-free formulation that is designed to reduce the symptoms associated with dry skin conditions such as endogenous or exogenous eczema. Cetraben contains a high percentage of liquid paraffin that forms an occlusive layer on the skin. This layer replaces the lost skin oils by trapping the skin’s moisture and reducing evaporation. This leaves the skin softer, smoother, and healthier.
You can make this emollient a part of your daily bath routine because it provides hydration and protection to the skin all over the body and not just the affected areas. It is an ideal bath oil for the relief of redness, dryness, inflammation, or itching.
Directions
Cetraben Bath Additive is suitable for all ages. It can be used as a bath additive in the bath or as a soap substitute in the shower. Before using, read the measurements carefully.
In the bath:
-
Fill the bath with warm water. The water should not be very hot or very cold.
-
Squeeze out the product and fill the optic measurement.
-
It dispenses about 10ml every time, sucking back any excess product. One measure of 10ml should be enough for 10cm of water in the bath.
-
For adults, a measure of 20ml should be added to the bath.
-
For children, a 10ml measure should be enough.
- For babies, add a few drops in the bath until the water turns milky.
In the shower:
-
Squeeze and release one optic measurement into the hand.
-
Gently, apply it to the wet skin.
-
Rinse well with water
