How should I use Germoloids Ointment?

Upon first use, make sure that the tube seal of the product is not broken.

Peel the seal from the tag to remove it.

Administer the medication as a topical ointment to treat external haemorrhoids. Apply it directly on to the affected area.

If you're using this product to treat internal haemorrhoids, attach the applicator nozzle on to the tube. Ease the application by smearing a small amount of the ointment outside of the nose. Insert the nozzle carefully into the anal opening. As you gently squeeze the tube, slowly withdraw the nozzle. This way, the ointment will smoothly move up into the anus.

After using, firmly replace the lid. Keep the ointment tube, cap and nozzle clean all the time.

This medication is typically applied at least 2 times a day with a minimum of 3 to 4 hours interval in between. You can use further treatments at any time of the day, particularly after moving bowels.

Do not use this product for more than 4 times in a day (24-hour period).

Contact your doctor or pharmacist if you need more information pertaining to the use of this medicine.
