Wash your hands before applying the drops on your eyes. Steer clear of touching the dropper to avoid contamination. After every use, tightly close the cap. As you tilt your head to your back, look up and pull your lower eyelid down so that it assumes a pouch. Press the dropper until 1 or 2 drops fall in each of your eyes. Look downward and softly close your eyes for about 1 or 2 minutes. Position one finger at the corner area of your eye near your nose and press gently.

If you need to use another eye medication, wait for a minimum of 5 minutes before using it. Eye drops should be used first before eye ointments so that the drops effectually enter the eyes.

Contact lenses are normally removed before applying eye lubricants. However, there are eye lubricants that contain polysorbates, and they can be used even with contact lenses on. Check for information on the package if you can wear contact lenses when applying the product.
