Zirtek Allergy Relief Tablets

• Do not take Zirtek Allergy if:

• You have kidney disease requiring dialysis.

• You are allergic to cetirizine dihydrochloride or any other ingredient in the medicine.

• Consult your doctor before use if:

• You have difficulty while urinating due to spinal cord, prostate, or bladder issues.

• You have epilepsy.

• You are pregnant, breastfeeding, or deciding to have a baby.

• You have lactose intolerance.

• Alcohol consumption: Although there is no significant interaction to have been observed between alcohol at low blood levels and cetirizine, it is better to avoid alcohol while taking this medication.

• Allergy testing: If you are scheduled for allergy testing, ask your doctor for usage advice because using citirizine may affect the results.

• Children: This medicine is not suitable for children under 6 years of age.

Side effects

• Common side effects include:

• Drowsiness

• Dizziness

• Dry mouth

• Headache

• And gastrointestinal discomfort

• Severe allergic reactions such as rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), trouble breathing, and severe dizziness are also possible. If any severe side effects occur, seek immediate medical attention.

Additional ingredients of Zirtek Allergy tablets are:

Microcrystalline cellulose, lactose monohydrate, magnesium stearate, colloidal anhydrous silica, Opadry Y-1-7000 hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (E 464), titanium dioxide (E 171), and macrogol 400.
