What is Enterosgel
There are several gastrointestinal issues that can occur, causing problems for the sufferer. Afflictions such as diarrhoea, irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) resulting in issues with stools and food poisoning, resulting in diarrhoea.
Diarrhoea is an affliction that can cause pain, difficulties and worry in those who suffer from it. Symptoms can range from mild to more severe and include:
- Loose and watery stools that occur more than 3 times in a day
- Cramps in the abdomen/abdominal pain
- Blood/mucus in the stool
- Fever
- Nausea
- Bloating
The ability to control the need to go to the toilet can also be compromised, which can pose problems in certain circumstances. Diarrhoea is caused by a bacteria or virus in the bowel, and in many cases, symptoms will pass themselves in a few days. More serious cases will take longer and can be the result of a more aggressive infection which might need medical intervention.
If the symptoms of diarrhoea persist or are severe, it can lead to dehydration and general fatigue, so it is best to prevent this from happening in the first place. For less serious cases, there are various remedies available which can assist the body in dealing with the infection and issues caused by it. Enterosgel sachets are one such treatment option and combine 30 years of clinical experience to create a remedy which is gentle enough to use on young children. It can also be used to treat indigestion.
How should I use Enterosgel Sachets?
Enterosgel sachets should be taken 1 to 2 hours before or after a meal. The sachets need to be mixed into water, as detailed above and consumed immediately after making the solution.
Enterosgel sachet can be used on babies and children under 3. The single-dose for babies under 1 is one-third of a teaspoon up to 6 times per day.
For acute diarrhoea, the course of treatment can last 3 to 5 days. For chronic diarrhoea caused by IBS (as diagnosed by a doctor), the treatment can be continued for a period of up to 21 days. If using for this purpose, you can adjust your dosage to suit the consistency of your movements. If loose, you can increase the treatment to a double dose 3 times per day, or if it is normal, reduce it to a single dose per day. Do not exceed 6 doses a day.
If symptoms persist, speak to your GP or pharmacist and ask their advice.
How effective are Enterosgel Sachets?
Enterosgel sachets are incredibly effective at reducing the symptoms of diarrhoea and other gastric problems. Most people will start to see improvements after one day of usage (3 doses per day), with a full treatment cycle lasting up to 5 days.
This natural remedy helps to restore intestinal microflora to an optimal level and helps to heal and protect the gastrointestinal mucus membrane. It serves to detoxify the body by reducing toxic load found in the system, helping to also cleanse the liver and kidneys.

What dose should I choose?
Enterosgel comes in only one dose per sachet, but the dose can be increased by taking more sachets in a shorter period of time. The recommended doses are as follows:
Children aged 1-6 years: 5g of the powder mixed into 50-100ml of water, taken 3 times per day
Children aged 7-14 years: 10g of the powder mixed into 50-100ml of water, taken 3 times per day
Children aged 15 and over and adults: 15g of the powder mixed into 200ml of water, taken 3 times per day
On day 1 of the treatment, the initial dose can be doubled, and a single dose can be taken after each bowel movement up to a maximum of 8 doses on the first day only.
Please carefully read the instructions prior to use and follow them accordingly.
How do Enterosgel Sachets work?
The ingredients within Enterosgel Sachets work in the intestinal tract to bind toxins, allergens, viruses, pathogens and other harmful substances to ensure they pass through your system.
It acts as a type of sponge when passing through the gut, gently absorbing all the matter which causes issues within the gut and allowing you to pass them, which means they are flushed out of your system. This will enable your bowel to return to its normal function. It also has hydrophobic properties and a porous structure which means that it will not eliminate any beneficial substances from your system, such as water and vitamins.
It will work to:
- Stop diarrhoea or shorten the duration of the bout of illness
- Relieve any symptoms of indigestion
- Prevent allergic reactions
- Reduce toxins in the system
- Restore the microflora balance to enable the gut to function as it should
- Protect the gastrointestinal mucus membrane and promote the healing of any lesions on it
- Prevent the hardening of the arteries
- Detoxify the body, cleansing the liver and kidneys by reducing the toxic load with its natural remedy.
Enterosgel is free from colours, preservatives, sugar, sweeteners, lactose, gluten, fat and artificial flavours.
How long do I use Enterosgel Sachets for before I notice a difference?
Some users will notice improvements in their symptoms within a few doses of the sachets. However, a full course will last 3 to 5 days, and at this point, the majority of users will have seen the symptoms disappear entirely. If the product is being used for chronic diarrhoea caused by IBS, it may take as long as 21 days to see improvements. If symptoms persist beyond the recommended treatment duration, it is advisable to speak to your GP.
What are the side effects of Enterosgel Sachets?
As with any treatment, there can be side effects. These are rare with Enterosgel sachets and would most likely be a result of an allergic reaction to one of the ingredients. If any side effects are experienced, discontinue use and speak to your GP or medical professional as soon as possible. If you would like to speak to a pharmacist in advance of your treatment to discuss any of the possible side effects, contact the experts at Click Pharmacy.

Enterosgel Sachets should not be used by anyone suffering from intestinal atony or anyone who has had an intestinal bypass.

- Polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate
