What is Cystopurin
Cystitis is generally one of the most common urinary tract infections (or UTIs) that can be experienced both by adults and children of all ages but is most common in women. These infections can cause a huge amount of discomfort in those who get them due to the increased acidity of the urine, the inflammation of the bladder and the abdominal pain that can be associated with it. Finding an effective remedy to reduce these symptoms quickly is crucial, which is where Cystopurin sachets can help.
Symptoms of a urinary tract infection include:
- A stinging or burning sensation when passing water
- The need to go to the toilet a lot more frequently
- Pain in the abdomen
- A general feeling of sickness and fatigue
- Urine that might be cloudy, much darker in colour than usual or that is strong smelling
These infections are caused when bacteria enters the urethra (the tube leading to the bladder) and passes upwards. Common causes of them are:
- Having sexual intercourse (try to go to the toilet just before and as soon after as you can)
- Not wiping accurately after going to the toilet (it is essential to do this in a front to back motion)
- Being a diabetic
- Being pregnant
- Having a weak immune system
The symptoms tend to vary in severity but generally cause discomfort, so an effective remedy such as Cystopurin sachets is advisable. They have a delicious cranberry flavour for your enjoyment too.
How should I use Cystopurin Sachets?
Adults and children over 6 years of age suffering from the symptoms of a urinary tract infection should mix 1 sachet with 200ml of cold water (stir until the granules are completely dissolved) and drink the delicious cranberry drink immediately. Do this three times per day. This should be continued onto day two.
Your treatment should not last longer than two days, and no more than three sachets should be consumed in a 24-hour period. If symptoms worsen or persist, consult a medical professional.
How do Cystopurin Sachets work?
There is an active ingredient in Cystopurin Sachets (potassium citrate) that works to neutralise the acidity of your urine to make it more alkaline. This will allow you to pass urine with less pain and will reduce inflammation. The product will also cause you to go to the toilet slightly more frequently to flush the infection out of your system.
How effective are Cystopurin Sachets?
A full course of Cystopurin Sachets lasts two days, but many sufferers will start to notice a recovery in symptoms within the first couple of doses. It is extremely likely that all your symptoms will have disappeared if you take the full course as directed. There are 3 sachets to be taken per day, a total of six in two days, mixed with water. They should work to alleviate the sting and will also flush the infection out of your body thanks to the additional water consumed and their slight diuretic effect. If your symptoms persevere for longer than two days, contact your GP or medical professional. Do not exceed the stated dose.
How long do I use Cystopurin Sachets for before I notice a difference?
The full course of treatment for Cystopurin Sachets lasts two days, and after this, most users will experience no further pain or other symptoms. Some users may find that their symptoms start to ease after just one or two sachets, but the full course of treatment should be completed even if symptoms start to improve. If you are still experiencing pain after the treatment has ended, speak to your GP.
