What is Spedra Tablets
Spedra tablet is a medication used to treat erectile dysfunction and increase sexual satisfaction in male adults. Erectile dysfunction is also sometimes referred to as impotence. It is characterised by the inability to get or maintain an erection firm enough for the performance of the sexual activity. Each tablet of Spedra contains the active ingredient avanafil, which belongs to the class of medications called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors.
How Effective Is Spedra?
Spedra is used to provide quick relief from erectile dysfunction in men by helping achieve and maintain a firm erection suitable for sexual intercourse. It takes 15-30 minutes to take effect, and the results last for 4-5 hours. Spedra requires sexual stimulation to work; therefore, foreplay is encouraged. This medication does not cure erectile dysfunction, only provides relief, and is not intended for women. Since Spedra is a prescription drug, it must be used according to the instructions provided by the doctor. Nonetheless, should you see no improvement in erections after use, speak to your doctor or a health practitioner.
How should I take Spedra?
In male adults, the recommended dose of Spedra is 100 mg taken orally once when needed. Your doctor may prescribe a lower dose at the start and increase afterwards if required.
The dose should be taken 15-30 minutes before you plan on having sexual intercourse. Spedra can be taken with or without food, although it works best on an empty stomach. Sexual stimulation is required for the drug to work. You must not take Spedra more than once per day.
Dose adjustments may be required in case Spedra is used along with other medications. Do not take more or less than the prescribed dose. If symptoms persist or worsen, get in touch with your doctor or a pharmacist at Click Pharmacy.
Can I buy Spedra online?
Yes! You can quickly and discreetly buy Spedra online through our website.
What are the side effects of Spedra?
Like all medicines, you may or may not experience any of the following side effects by taking Spedra. Some of these include:
Feeling very tired or sleepy
Increased heart rate
Raised liver enzymes
High blood pressure
Swelling in the feet or ankles
Heartburn or stomach pain
If you experience any of these symptoms, notify your doctor immediately.
Discontinue use immediately and seek emergency medical help in case you experience any of the following serious side effects:
Priapism: an uncommon condition in which an erection will not go away. If your erection has not subsided in over 4 hours, seek medical attention immediately, or it can cause permanent damage to your penis.
Sudden decline or loss of vision in one or both eyes
Sudden decline or loss of hearing, sometimes paired with dizziness or ringing in the ears.
If you experience an allergic reaction to the medication, characterised by swollen eyelids, face or lips, chest pains and tightness, difficulty breathing, dizziness, fever, or an itchy rash, seek immediate medical attention from your GP or hospital.
Be cautious if you experience mouth ulcers, unexplained bruising, a sore throat, extreme paleness, fever, weakness, or exhaustion. These signs are associated with blood disorder conditions such as anaemia, low platelet count, low white blood cells, suppressed bone marrow, or reduction in agranulocytes.
Speak to your doctor or consult our pharmacist at Click Pharmacy should you require any further advice.
When shouldn’t I take Spedra?
Do not begin this medication if you are allergic to avanafil, other PDE5 inhibitors (Viagra, Levitra, etc.) or any other ingredients listed on the product. In case you are on other medications, whether prescribed, herbal, or over-the-counter medications, discuss with your doctor before taking Spedra.
This advice is even more crucial to people taking medicines such as nitrates, alpha-blockers, antibiotics (such as erythromycin), primidone, phenobarbital, carbamazepine, riociguat, verapamil, amprenavir, aprepitant, fluconazole, diltiazem, ritonavir, fosamprenavir and quinidine, amiodarone, and other medicines used for the treatment of arrhythmias (irregular heart rate).
How does Spedra work?
Spedra contains the active ingredient avanafil known as a phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. This drug works by inducing smooth muscle relaxation in the spongy erectile tissue of the penis, known as the corpus cavernosum. This allows increased blood flow to the erectile tissue, filling it and causing a firmer and longer-lasting erection.
Spedra inhibits the activity of the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5), which as a result, increases the amount of the chemical substance cGMP in the spongy tissue of the penis. cGMP is responsible for the physiological change of smooth muscle relaxation and increasing the inflow of blood in the erectile tissue.
What dose should I choose?
Spedra is available in 3 dosages: 50 mg tablets, 100 mg tablets and 200 mg tablets. Each pack of Spedra contains 4 tablets. You can purchase the pack online, and it will be sent directly to you by Next Day Delivery via Click Pharmacy.
The dose you should take depends on the prescription. Check the patient leaflet enclosed in the medication before use, and make sure that you adhere to the instructions provided.
This medication is not suitable for individuals under the age of 18 years.
How long do I take Spedra before I notice a difference?
Take Spedra exactly as prescribed. It should be used on an as-needed basis, no more than once per day. Depending on your dose, wait for the medication to take effect within 15-30 minutes. Your doctor or the pharmacist will prescribe the lowest dose that suits you.
What is the difference between Spedra, Cialis Daily and Viagra?
Spedra, Cialis and Viagra are all erectile dysfunction drugs belonging to the class of medicines known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. These 3 medicines, although with similar therapeutic actions, have slight differences.
Viagra contains the active ingredient sildenafil and was the first of its class of medications to be introduced for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED). It is available in 3 doses: 25 mg, 50 mg, and 100 mg. Viagra requires 30 – 60 minutes to work, with its effects lasting up to 4-5 hours. Just like Spedra, Viagra also requires sexual stimulation to work. Viagra is more likely to cause common side effects associated with the use of PDE5 inhibitors, although not everyone experiences them. These side effects include nasal congestion, flushing, headache, and indigestion. A side effect exclusive to Viagra includes sore throat.
Cialis Daily contains the active ingredient tadalafil, and it is available in 2 doses: 2.5 mg and 5 mg. This drug is taken daily, hence providing a small constant dose of tadalafil to the body. This takes out the planning and waiting time involved when taking other ED pills, making it possible for you to get an erection whenever you want to engage in sexual activity. Cialis takes 30 minutes – 2 hours to reach peak levels in the body, and its effects last up to 36 hours. It is also approved for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a condition characterised by the enlargement of the prostate. Common side effects include indigestion, headache, back pain and common cold, although not everyone taking this medication experiences them. A side effect exclusive to Cialis includes limb pain.
