The active ingredient in Beconase Hay fever relief is beclometasone dipropionate, which is a type of steroid that provides anti-inflammatory effects.

How Effective Is Beconase Hayfever Relief?

Beconase Hayfever Relief is an effective way of managing and controlling allergens and the way the body reacts to triggers in the environment. Beclometasone dipropionate, which is the active ingredient in the spray works similarly to body chemicals to reduce inflammation. This medication offers fast relief to eight symptoms, hence if symptoms worsen after seven days seek medical advice.

Can I buy Beconase Hayfever Relief online?

    What dose should I choose?

Beconase Hayfever Relief is administered via the intranasal route. Each bottle of this medication contains 100 sprays with each spray containing 50mg of the active ingredient beclometasone dipropionate. The patient should spray twice into each nostril twice a day. Once your symptoms improve, you can reduce the dose to one spray per nostril every morning and evening.

This medication is suitable for persons over the age of 18 and should be used regularly for best results.

Always check the patient leaflet enclosed and the label for instructions.

How should I take Beconase Hayfever Relief?

Start by shaking the bottle. Remove the dust cap. Prime the spray by pumping until a fine mist is released.

Make sure that as you press down to release the fine mist, the bottle is pointed away from you.

After priming the spray, blow your nose then close one nostril with your index finger. Breathe in, point the nozzle outwardly and squirt a fine mist into your nostril. Breathe out through your mouth and repeat this for the second spray. Once you are done with one nose, start again by breathing in and closing your nostril, to administer the treatment on the other nostril. Follow the same steps you did for the first nostril.

Upon completion, wipe the nozzle then replace the dust cap to seal.
