What is Sterimar Cold Defence

Sterimar cold Defence Nasal Spray is an isotonic resolution created from a 100% organic and purified seawater. It's enriched with Copper and free from preservatives.

How does Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray work?

Sea water is collected from a protected site found off the French Coast of Brittany. This is a specially monitored site from which the sea water is collected.

The solution in Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray is rich in marine mineral salts and trace elements that help the body. In particular, the sodium chloride content relieves nasal congestion by helping to liquefy mucous secretions. The copper salts gently cleanse the nasal passages and reduce the risk of ear, nose, and throat ailments such as otitis, sinusitis, and bronchitis.

How effective Is Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray?

Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray is safe to use in children from 3 years of age and up. It is also suitable for adults and may be used during pregnancy. Since it contains no medicine, it clears up the nasal passages in a natural way with the effect of sea water.

Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray is used at the start of symptoms leading up to cold and flu ailments during cold and flu season. It helps with the removal of thick or crusty mucus by dissolving it. By doing this, it helps reduce the risk of ear, nose, and throat infections and disorders.

In young children with stuffy noses, Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray is used to soften the mucus so that this may then be removed with a nasal bulb syringe or other mucus-removing device. This relieves the stuffiness and helps the child breath better.

How should I use Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray?

Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray can be used at the first appearance of symptoms of a cold or any other ear, nose, and throat disorder such as blocked or runny nose, itching throat, or sneezing. It is a useful product in young children and for pregnant and breastfeeding women for whom many other products may not be suitable or safe.

On first use, the container needs to be primed by briefly pressing the nozzle until the spray function is activated.

Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray can be used in two ways:

  1. To limit the symptoms of the common cold and to moisturise the nasal passages.
Place the nozzle gently into the nostril and spray once or twice while keeping the head straight. Repeat in the other nostril. Let the excess solution flow out and then blow your nose.

  2. For a deeper cleanse of the nasal passages.
Place the nozzle gently into the nostril and spray twice or three times while keeping the head tilted. Repeat in the other nostril. Let the excess solution flow out and then blow your nose.

Use Sterimar Cold Defence Nasal Spray between 2 to 6 times a day for as long as needed or as long as your doctor recommends.
