    What is Bazuka Treatment Gel

Bazuka Remedy gel is a fast and efficient method of treating corns, calluses, warts and verrucas if they appear on kids, adults or the elderly in different ways but most common at the swimming pool.

How effective is Bazuka Treatment Gel?

Bazuka Treatment Gel, if used correctly, can provide the result as fast as in four days or up until 12 weeks. All this depends on the size and resistance of the corns, warts, calluses or verrucas or adherence to instructions. Always check the patient leaflet enclosed and check the label for the proper use and further instructions.

Can I buy Bazuka Treatment Gel online?

Bazuka Treatment Gel is a non-prescription medication. You can buy over the counter and online with ease. Bazuka Extra Strength Gel can be availed to you in a one pack containing 6g worth of product or as multipacks to be sent to you by Next Day Delivery by Click Pharmacy.

    What dose should I choose?

Bazuka Treatment Gel is a colourless gel and is available in a tube of 6g. It is recommended to soak the affected area in warm water for a maximum of three minutes then apply the treatment gel every once a day, preferably in the evening. Continue with the treatment until warts, calluses, corns or verrucas disappear. If 12 weeks go by without any improvement or your condition, worsens seek help from a medical professional. Also, Bazuka Treatment Gel is only suitable for children above the age of two years, adults and the elderly.

How should I take Bazuka Treatment Gel

This treatment includes a list of safety precautionary measures to ensure that the gel does not harm any healthy part of the skin. Therefore, after opening the tube as follows, you can proceed to the application.

    • Find a suitable spot to avoid accidental spillage

    • Place the tube of Bazuka Treatment Gel on the surface and hold it in an upright position. The base should be resting on the surface with the cap facing upwards.

    •  Unscrew the cap, remove the red collar and dispose of it appropriately

    • With the tube still facing upwards, wait for 30 seconds. This is to avoid spillage or spouts, which can harm healthy skin.

    • Replace the white/yellow nozzle or cap onto the screw thread and tighten firmly.

    • Pierce, the top, loosen the yellow cap slightly then retighten.

    • A small gap is left between the base of the nozzle and the top of the tube if you’ve done it correctly. Screw back the protective purple cap after use.

    To apply,

First, soak the affected part in warm water for a maximum of three minutes.

Use your towel to dry the area. Avoid using another’s to curb the spread of the infection.

Taking extra precaution to avoid squeezing the tube, remove the yellow cap and leave the white nozzle attached.

Apply one or two drops of the gel atop the calluses, wart, corn or verrucas. Spread a thin coat to prevent the gel from spreading onto healthy skin.

Let the gel dry for a couple of minutes until it forms a white patch that sticks to the area. The patch is usually water-resistant, so you do not have to cover it with a plaster.

The next evening, peel off the white patch of gel and apply fresh gel as indicated. If you have trouble picking off the white dried gel, carefully apply a thin coat of fresh gel over the area and allow it to dry. The white patch will thicken, making it easier for you to peel it off. As you complete your medication if the white patch becomes difficult to pick, leave it as it will fall off with time.

Every once a week before application of Bazuka Treatment Gel, gently rub the corn, calluses, wart or verrucas with a pumice stone, or the emery board provide.

Remember that you should not allow anyone else to use towels, pumice stones or an emery board you have used on the affected area to avoid the spreading of infection

How does Bazuka Treatment Gel work?

Bazuka Treatment Gel contains lactic acid and salicylic acid as active ingredients. These two acids soften the hard tissue caused by warts and verrucas while killing the virus that may cause the same infections to reoccur. Topical application is recommended when using Bazuka Treatment Gel and adherence to instructions for better and quick results.

How long do I take Bazuka Treatment Gel before I notice a difference?

Depending on the resistance and size of your lesions, Bazuka Treatment Gel may take up to 12 weeks for you to see results. Nonetheless, on average, it takes a maximum of 10 days before warts, corns, calluses, or verrucas fall off. Therefore, do not stop treatment until you achieve results. If 12 weeks go by without seeing, any improvement seeks the help of your doctor.

What are the side effects of Bazuka Treatment Gel?

There are almost no side effects of using this medication, but you are likely to experience a mild tingling sensation when the medicine is working. A temporary blemish may appear on the area, but in rare cases. As this product can irritate healthy skin, so always check the instructions on how to open the medication to avoid spillage. If irritation persists, or you experience any other side effects not listed on the leaflet, report this to your doctor.

If you are pregnant, planning to be or are currently breastfeeding, consult your doctor to confirm if this treatment is appropriate for you.

Again, because drugs interact differently, please speak to your doctor or consult our specialist at click pharmacy should you require any further advice.

When shouldn’t I take Bazuka Treatment Gel?

Do not begin this treatment if you have diabetes, or if you’re unsure that your symptoms should be treated using this medication. Also, if you suffer from poor blood circulation on your hands and feet do not use this medication.

The same applies if you are allergic to salicylic acid, lactic acid or other ingredients listed on the product. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, seek medical advice before you begin treatment. There are no cases reported of adverse drug interaction or influence on your ability to drive or use machines.

What is the difference between Bazuka Treatment Gel and Bazuka Extra Strengthening Gel/Tea tree oil

Salicylic and lactic acid are the active ingredients in Bazuka Treatment Gel while salicylic acid is the only ingredient in Bazuka Extra Strengthening Gel. Both treatments are used to fight warts, corns, calluses, and verrucas in children and adults, although Bazuka Treatment Gel is not recommended for children under the age of two years. Tea tree oil falls under the category of a natural remedy that you can use for the same purpose. It is hailed as a treatment for warts, due to its antiviral benefits.
