How does Avoca Wart & Verruca Treatment work?
Avoca wart and Verruca treatment work effectively due to its main active ingredient, silver nitrate. Silver nitrate does its magic by destroying very thin layers of tissue at a time, both pathological and non-pathological. As this layer of skin dies, the next layer subsequently must then be applied to ensure the penetration of the verruca tissue continues.

While this does depend on the severity of your warts and verrucas, the treatment should only last for about 1 to 2 treatments, if after 2 procedures, the treatment has not resulted in a complete elimination of warts or verrucas, one should immediately contact their doctor.
So, following the proper instructions on the Avoca wart and Verruca treatment, the wart will disappear in a few days, but you will most likely have to apply the nitrate once a day for up to 6 days. The Avoca treatment is simple, but you do have to follow very specific instructions. Before using the medication, there are some steps one must follow; you should have some clean water available, do not use water that contains any saline solution. Get a clean non-absorbent surface, and you could use a drinking glass, paper tissue, petroleum jelly. Please make sure that you are at a table as the procedure requires a flat surface. Make sure to cover the surface with a piece of paper or cloth to protect your table from the silver nitrate.
The application: On the upturned drinking glass, put a single drop of clean water. Place the tip of the Avoca treatment pen and gently move the tip in the water for about 20 seconds. By the time you are done stirring, the tip has absorbed the water. Make sure not to touch any healthy skin with the tip of the pen. To do this, protect your healthy skin with a layer of petroleum jelly. Now, gently pass the water absorbed in the pen to the affected area and make sure the wart or Verruca is covered in the water. Subsequently, let it dry completely, the affected area will appear to be black after the water has dried, this is entirely normal. With the tissue paper, dry the tip of the pen and make sure that it has completely dried. Wait 24 hours after the application, and then you can file away the dried black material. If there are remaining Warts or Verrucas, wait 3 or 6 days, respectively and then apply the medication once more. If in the case that you miss a dose, please do not apply a double amount as it can be very dangerous as large quantities of silver nitrate can cause significant damage.
