What is Apercap Peppermint Oil

Apercap peppermint oil capsules are an effective and reliable treatment for the reduction of uncomfortable symptoms that are associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). These include:

  • Bloating
  • Trapped wind
  • Diarrhoea
  • Constipation
  • Stomach cramps

Each Apercap peppermint oil capsule is specially coated to stop it dissolving in the stomach, allowing it to reach the part of the gut where it is needed, intact. The peppermint oil is then released into the bowel, where it acts to relax the muscle spasms that cause IBS.

How effective are Apercap Peppermint Oil capsules?

Apercap peppermint oil capsules are an effective treatment to bring relief to the uncomfortable and often painful symptoms of IBS, which include bowel cramps, trapped wind and bloating, as well as diarrhoea and constipation.

In addition to taking Apercap peppermint oil capsules, patients can help to treat their symptoms of IBS by making certain lifestyle changes, for example, modifying their diets to avoid certain foods that are known to aggravate IBS. This could be dairy products for some patients, but it will differ from person to person.

It is also widely considered that taking regular exercise can help to relieve some of the symptoms of IBS, for example, a brisk walk or cycling.

As well as attempting to lower stress levels through exercise, meditation, and certain behavioural changes may also help to ease any symptoms that you may be experiencing as a result of IBS.
